Questions people ask
How much does a service business pay in card fees?
Most published online/invoice rates are 2.7%–3.5% plus a per-transaction fee; field-service suites add $109–$297 a month on top. Enter your volume above to see the difference for your business.
Is Whop cheaper than Stripe?
On the headline rate the gap is small — 2.7% + 30¢ versus 2.9% + 30¢, about $1,200 a year on $600,000 of volume. The larger differences are the monthly software subscription you may no longer need, payout timing and the tools (invoices, financing, Tap to Pay) included at no monthly fee.
What does financing cost on Whop?
Customer financing through Whop’s partners (ClarityPay, Klarna, Afterpay, Splitit) carries a 15% fee per financed transaction. It is a tool for closing bigger jobs, not a way to lower processing costs.
